Clinical Supervision

In my experience, the most important part of supervision is the relationship that we forge together. I am very transparent. I believe that Psychotherapy is one of the most challenging professions and that throughout our careers as therapists, we need all the support that we can get. We all have our own particular issues and struggles that come up in treatment.

I want you to feel safe and that I am your ally in helping you to both develop your skills as a therapist and your ability to identify and better manage the particular struggles and emotions which may arise for you when you are in the room with clients.

One of my goals is to help you to develop your ability to better tune into your internal experience when you are with clients as a window into what might be happening for them.

I also assist you in developing skills to slow things down for clients at pivotal points in the therapy in order to place the focus on key emotions and themes as these come up.

Working in these ways, you will learn to deepen your connection with your clients and make the therapy a more meaningful experience for them.
